Spiritual Directors Association of Kenya is a national nonprofit and non-political organization of men and women from all Christian traditions, called to the ministry of accompanying others with the help of the Holy Spirit, in their search for a closer relationship with God.
Our Objectives are…
- Raise awareness on the role and importance of spiritual accompaniment in the Christian journey
- Register members from among trained Spiritual Directors and maintain a database of the members from any Christian tradition
- Offer capacity building and continuous formation for members
- Increase accessibility to spiritual direction provided by members of SPIDAK
- Promote training of more Spiritual Directors
- Provide peer supervision to Spiritual Directors
- Provide a forum for collaboration and linkages between SPIDAK and their counterparts around the world
- Raise funds for carrying out activities of the Association
- Form other institutions within the country for carrying out the objectives of the Association
- Be non-political in its scope and position
